Q. Can I use the services from Canada?

A. YES! SpectraVoice Long Distance service is available from anywhere in Canada. You can access it through one of our local access numbers. If a local access number is not available in your area, you can also access it through our toll free access numbers (an additional toll free surcharge will apply).

Q. Can I use the services from the United States?

A. YES! SpectraVoice Long Distance service is available from anywhere in the United States (except Alaska and Hawaii). You can access it through our toll free access numbers (an additional toll free surcharge will apply).

Q. Can I use the services from International destinations?

A. YES! SpectraVoice Long Distance service is available from over 80 countries world wide by using our global toll free access numbers (an additional global toll free surcharge will apply and varies by country).

Billing

Q. Are there any monthly fees?

A. NO! SpectraVoice Long Distance has no monthly fees.

Q. Are there any monthly minimum usage requirements?

A. NO! SpectraVoice Long Distance has no minimum monthly usage requirements. Your account will always remain active and your credit will never expire.

Q. Are there any "Network Access Fees" like the other phone companies charge?

A. NO! SpectraVoice Long Distance has no hidden or extra fees! We don't believe you should have to pay us a hidden, extra or questionable "Network Access Fee" for the privilege of saving money on your long distance! Toll Free Access Numbers are subject to an additional fee of $0.05 per minute.

Q. Will I be charged any tax?

A. SpectraVoice will charge applicable GST and HST to all Canadian customers. If you live in Ontario or Quebec, you will also be subject to PST. If you are located outside of Canada, either in the United States or Internationally, you will not be charged tax.

Q. What payment methods are available?

A. You can add funds to your SpectraVoice Long Distance account by using your Visa or MasterCard.

Q. Will I receive a bill?

A. You will not receive a paper bill. You will be able to review a complete history of all of your usage and payments through our Long Distance Account Manager which is available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Costs and Payments

Q. Will I incur cellular charges when I call from my cell phone?

A. SpectraVoice Long Distance will save you money on the long distance portion of your call. You will still be subject to regular airtime charges as applicable from your cellular service provider.

Q. Do the rates vary for different times of the day or on weekends?

A. NO! SpectraVoice Long Distance provides you with great low long distance rates no matter when or where you call.

Q. Why are cellular rates to certain countries higher than the regular rates?

A. In certain countries cellular providers charge a higher rate for terminating calls to their customers through the cellular network.

Q. Are there any connection fees?

A. NO! SpectraVoice does not charge any hidden connection fees, or use any type of gimicks to reduce your calling credit. You receive full value, dollar for dollar, in long distance calls for money you deposit.

Q. What currency are your prices in? What currency do you bill my credit card in?

A. All prices are in Canadian Dollars and are exclusive of taxes (if applicable).

Q. How can I save even more?

A. If you are a SpectraVoice Broadband subscriber (http://broadband.spectravoice.com) you will receive the same long distance rates you receive on your SpectraVoice Broadband service. These rates are usually more than 15% lower than the regular SpectraVoice Long Distance rates.

Provisioning

Q. How quickly is my account activated once I signup?

A. Your account is activated immediately upon signing up and adding funds to your account using a valid credit card.

Using The Service

Q. How do I subscribe to SpectraVoice Long Distance?

A. You can subscribe to SpectraVoice Long Distance by going to the Sign Up page on our website.

Q. Now that I have subscribed to SpectraVoice Long Distance, how do I use it?

A. Using SpectraVoice Long Distance is extremely easy. For more details, please see the How Does It Work? page on our website.

Q. What if I have a private number or utilize call blocking on my home, office or cellular phone?

A. If you subscribe to a service that prevents the display of your telephone number to others, you will need to disable that feature when you use our service. Often you can refer to your cellular telephone owners manual for detailed instructions or contact your cellular provider. Often you can disable the call block feature temporarily by dialing *82 before the access number from your home, office or cellular phone.

Q. How can I make using your service more efficient?

A. Consider using a speed dial entry to store the SpectraVoice Long Distance access number to make dialing even easier. If you use a SpectraVoice Global Calling Card, you can even store your card number within the speed dial entry. We do not recommend you store the PIN for security reasons.

Q. Can I subscribe more than one phone number to SpectraVoice Long Distance?

A. YES! You can subscribe up to 3 telephone numbers (home, office, or cellular) to SpectraVoice Long Distance. If you need to subscribe more than three numbers, you are urged to contact us before enrolling.

Q. How can I see how much money I've spend and what calls have been made?

A. By accessing our Long Distance Account Manager, you can review all of your usage and payments along with manage your long distance services and features.

Q. Can I cancel at anytime?

A. You can cancel your account at anytime. There are no contracts to sign, no fixed terms. Simply stop using your account.
